I’ve been homeschooled my entire life.
The closest I’ve gotten to ‘real’ school is a few years of Sunday school when my family went to church, and a two-week journalism program a few years ago.
I’ve taken a number of classes online, and I think I have an entirely different life than I would have because of it. In a good way.
Because my actual schooling has been a tad unconventional – even for homeschoolers – I’m currently working on studying for a GED.
I more than likely won’t go to college.
Not because I can’t, but because I don’t see the point. I understand the reason and that you CAN greatly benefit from college; I get it. I like art. I’m likely going to wind up with any 9-5 I can get, so any kind of art degree would be pointless. I might consider it more if I could decide on one thing I wanted to do, but seeing how I can’t….I see no point in wasting that much time and money on something I’m unsure about.
That’s about it. Yep.
