If/When I Have Kids, I’m Pretty Sure They’re Going To Have The Coolest Playroom Ever.

Assuming I have any say in the matter and can actually do what I like.

Because really, my plan – or what little of one I have – is epic.

[I feel like at this stage in this post, I should note that I don’t plan on having kids any time remotely soon. I just like stuff like this, decoration and DIY, and….frankly, my tastes are pretty much different from any other decent adult – probably because I shouldn’t actually count as one – and my excuse for decorating ONE ROOM the way I’d want it is “KIDS WILL LOVE IT.”]

I keep finding things like these chairs….

And this staircase….

Because it would. Obviously.

No, really. Imagine it.

Having that tree trunk staircase end in its own little tree house of sorts. You get to the top of the stairs and you have your own little cubbyhole. [Preferably big enough for at least two or three people, but you know.]

Then some random bright things like those chairs. Because really, how are those not fantastic? I could spare other family members and guests alike from the retina-searing awesome in the rest of the house, but nobody’s gonna complain about it if it’s in a kid’s room!

Throw in a wall-to-wall bookshelf….

Some cool lights….

Some paintings/murals…

And you’re good to go.

Just me?

Might be. Because I know I would love the hell out of that room. Would have when I was little, still would.

But if I have kids with personalities more like my sisters or my boyfriend, or most ‘normal people’…..Might not be as awesome.

About TheChaoticCloset

I'm pretty much your average 19 year old girl. I'm kind of rabidly into anything artsy [well. I adore most anything in the realm of 'art'. Doesn't mean I'm good at it all.] including fashion. After becoming sort of obsessed with Polyvore.com, I decided to create this. It'll probably mostly just be a giant, chaotic mess of all my little projects, loves, wants, obsessions and some random things I find along the way. Enjoy - or don't; Really, it's up to you.
