It never ceases to confuse me when I get little view-count spikes. That one post I made with the ‘NO’ rageface has probably brought me more views than anything else, I tell ya.
This week is moderately busy. Boyfriend’s yesterday, party the night before. Didn’t get home till about 2, so that’s always fun. [I say always: Not really a party-goer here, at least, never have been. So I have nothing to really go on. But you know.] Probably going shopping some day this week, though no plans set in stone yet. [Then again, I’m pretty sure no part of my life is set in stone, so that isn’t saying much.] Leaving for the beach on Saturday for a week. Will be back the 21st, and then I have that weekend for whatever, and my friend Jordan will be here Tuesday for like four days, then we have the Vans Warped Tour.
Busy month is busy. But hey, at least it’s busy in a good way, rather than a ‘whoo giant shitstorm I have no idea how to handle this or what to do with myself so I’m going to make run on sentences and forget what punctuation is’ kind of busy. That kind is less fun.
In the meantime, though, I’ve been working on covering a paper lantern in coffee filters. [Yeah, I know. But you have to be used to hearing this kind of thing from me by now.]
Idea from Aunt Peaches, though my lantern isn’t orange. Pictures upon completion, as usual.
Also just got into Jim Henson’s The Storyteller, thanks to my friend Paul. Knew I’d love it as soon as Henson was mentioned, and oh do I love it. On Netflix if anyone’s interested. [Fun fact: The millisecond the dog started talking, I had to run to IMDB to double-check who did the voice, because my brain was screaming “YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO THAT IS”. I have watched Labyrinth way too many times.]
I think I linked VYou here before, but regardless I’m doing it again. I’ve had a lovely person or two bothering to be original on Formspring [yes I know, it still lives] this past week, and I thought I’d make note of the other question-asking service I’m on. So, if you feel like being nosy [and I feel the need to preface this by saying it is near impossible to offend or embarrass me with questions, so by all means don’t let that stop you], go check out my pages on Formspring and/or VYou. On the first, answers are text-based; in the second, answers are done in video form. Tada information you probably already had.
I think I’ll just go now.
