Concerts and Work and Waterslides

So Olly Murs’ show earlier this week was great. Boyfriend wound up taking the place of one of my sisters, as said sister was sick. So that was fun. Though the amount of Brits there was absolutely insane. Pretty sure at least half the people there were British. Which was fine, but note to self – if ever in Britain, avoid going to shows for fear of not being able to hear the actual artist over their constant yelling. SHUSH GUYS, SHUSH.

But as usual nothing compares to Alkaline Trio. Even considering they had me up way past my bedtime last night, and we didn’t get in til well after midnight. Still, utter brilliance. Bayside kicked ass, I’ve got a newfound love for Off With Their Heads, and despite having to work yesterday, I still managed to get a spot in the pit where I could actually see and avoided getting trampled by some miracle. Now granted, was not feeling too great towards the end of Alkaline’s hour-long set, but that’s mostly due to the fact I was roasting and had no water for hours on end. Still awesome. Sad it’s over.

And now I just have to wait until the 31st for Marianas Trench. And possibly the middle of July for Anamanaguchi. Though that one might depend. We’ll see.

In other news, only about a month left of morning babysitting. Meaning only about a month left of weirdass bedtimes and fucked up sleep schedules. Hallelujah. In the meantime, that family’s beagle is curled up asleep on a pile of blankets on my floor for today and part of tomorrow. And by ‘curled up asleep’ I mean ‘snoring her face off’. Yay for fuzzy house guests.

Work tomorrow, and hopefully less of a wonky schedule for next week. [Wednesday/Friday/Sunday is not a good one. Seriously.] Had a new girl training with me yesterday, so no idea if I’ll be with her again tomorrow or any point next week. We shall see.

So now I just have to remember to get waterpark tickets. [Not that that’s relevant to anything. I’m just borderline obsessed with getting to something with waterslides this summer. Stop judging me.]

About TheChaoticCloset

I'm pretty much your average 19 year old girl. I'm kind of rabidly into anything artsy [well. I adore most anything in the realm of 'art'. Doesn't mean I'm good at it all.] including fashion. After becoming sort of obsessed with Polyvore.com, I decided to create this. It'll probably mostly just be a giant, chaotic mess of all my little projects, loves, wants, obsessions and some random things I find along the way. Enjoy - or don't; Really, it's up to you.
